Volunteering With Friends of the ElderlyPhoto-Fiona-Silvia-homebox[1]

Becoming a Friends of the Elderly volunteer is one of the most rewarding things you can do. By giving you receive the benefitsĀ of a new friendships and the knowledge that you are having a meaningful impact on an older persons life.

Would you like the opportunity to make a difference in your community?

A chance to help an older friend by dropping into them each week or singing and dancing with them at our social club? Perhaps you have a great eye for fashion and you could help us raise money for our social events by working in our charity shop. Would your school be interested in our schools programme and organise anĀ open day for your older friends.

There are lots of ways to get involved in Friends of the Elderly and as a volunteer based organisation, the success of all our programmes depend on the goodwill of our volunteers.

We have various opportunities ranging from full-time volunteering roles through the EVS project or part-time roles/occasional volunteering roles such as social club volunteer or volunteer driver.
