Over the years the team at Friends of the Elderly have built a knowledge base on services and different issues that are applicable to older people.
We don’t guarantee we know all the answers but we will try and help.
If we can’t answer your query,we can usually ‘signpost’ you to someone that can. Please note that such a referral does not constitute a recommendation.
Our volunteers are our members best advocates
Being a member of Friends of the Elderly Ireland means that we will try and help you as best as we can. If you feel you could do with additional help around the house or need information
on services, you or your volunteer can let us know and we will make contact with the relevant departments.
We believe in fostering independence and helping older people remain in their homes for as long as they can and we support our members by providing information and representation on a variety of needs.
