Friends of the Elderly has had the distinct honour of being shortlisted for this year’s Charity Impact Award!

This award is a celebration of the volunteer community’s positive impact on people all over the country, and we are delighted to see our volunteers’ hard work being recognized.

Without our volunteers, Friends of the Elderly simply could not function. Every week, they serve tea and biscuits in our social clubs and make hundreds of phone calls and house calls to our members. Without them, our charity shop would not be open and our clubs would not run as smoothly, if at all. Simply put, Friends of the Elderly could not function without them.

We are so grateful for all of our volunteers. We believe their impact is totally incalculable, but they nonetheless deserve this honourable recognition. They have been true friends of the elderly.
