Your help can give an older person a reason to smile again

Right now there is an older person sitting in silence.  Waiting for a visitor or for somebody to telephone – just sitting and waiting.

Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year – but for so many older people it is the loneliest.  Nobody visits, nobody calls.  Christmas goes on without them.

Your act of kindness today will help our volunteers bring joy this Christmas and beyond.   Food hampers, volunteer visits and the phone ringing to just to say “hello”, breaking the deafening sound of silence.   Bringing hope and friendship.   Bringing some Christmas magic to those who thought it would never be possible.

Your help today can help someone who is trapped under the unbearable weight of loneliness this Christmas.  Please support our Christmas Appeal.

Thank you for being a friend of the elderly.
