We have seen a big increase in demand for our crucial services – from older neighbours all over Ireland who are lonely and who need simple practical supports and companionship.
And of course, this is happening at a time when, because of Covid-19, we are struggling to raise the funds to support these services. When many older people are still living in fear despite the welcome roll-out of the vaccines.
Your gift empowers our wonderful volunteers to make contact with, safely-visit and befriend more people who are isolated, lonely and afraid. We can make more phone calls, send more birthday cards, deliver more hot meals, more food hampers.
